Doorbell sales are at an all time low as new generation ( generation X) is texting "here" rather than going up to the door and ringing the bell.The sales of doorbells are going down at an alarming rate every year, how will people solicit politics or religion at your door without a doorbell?! We have a comment from a child who does not use a doorbell:
" I just don't feel the need to make a noise at the door when I can text my friend before entering his house. I don't want to see anyone else in the house. I text instead of ring the bell out of the slight possibility that my friend's dad will answer the door and I will have to make small talk." says twelve year old Ben from up the road.
Doorbells are an important part of society and we cannot have gen-x and gen-z ruining it for everyone else. They already obliterated the napkin, diamond, and housing industry. What is next? Oh when will the horror end?!
